A Short Trip to Pondy!!!

Finally....

Yup, finally we made took our long overdue vacation.

After days of procrastination we finally got ourselves moving.. It was a lovely trip, but tiring too, as we were with a very energectic and slightly overactive toddler. All along our drive, we had to stop or slow down at any place on the way with even a spot of water to check for 'crocs', one my son's favorite animals. It was the first overnight trip with Monu. We had cancelled many a trip, as we thought it[a change in climate,..] would be tiring for him.. Well.. we were proved wrong.. It was tiring for us and not him.

Monu loves to walk, and run all around.. But, when we really wanted him to walk atleast a 100 meters, he was literally hanging to our necks, like a baby monkey.

So Dada, Mamma and baby monkey had long walks along the beach and the surronding streets of Arvindo Ashram and markets of Pondicherry.

We had great time. Should make such trips more often.

Here are some photos we have taken on our trip.

Weekend "Monu's Blog"

Let me introduce to one of the most important men in my life... My sunny boy - VJ. Thrilok aka Monu aka chuchumby aka chithu...
That seems to be a long list of names rt... The names other than Thrilok and Monu were added by a small exercise. My son is too fond of television (for my liking). The other day, he was sitting and watching his favourite commercial - vodaphone. Thought of a new idea, i started calling him names, started off with dei.. no response, kanna... no response, and then tried Thrilok, he turned and and gave me a small smile...I was a little relieved.. then tried dei again, no response, this went on for a while till he got bored and turned a deaf ear, but only after giving me a mean blank stare, quite like his dad.

But I was able to get about 5-6 new names for him...

Thrilok is an inquistive, enthusiastic and a hyperactive kid, like most of his age. He looks into everything from a fly to aeroplane with awe and lot of questions...Everything that is of comfortable size to be lifted, is picked up touched, stared into deeply digesting its beauty, and tasted.. It astonishes me to see him, absorb everything new thing with all his five senses... A child is truly God's best creation.
